Flopy Needs a Home

Flopy is a gentle, quiet and affectionate medium-sized dog who feels happiest when surrounded by calm, security and people he trusts…

Flopy was one of the dogs living in difficult conditions in Grocka. He was initially removed from that environment by other people, but no arrangements had been made for his continued care. When we learned that he was staying at a boarding facility with unpaid expenses, without food or the other things he needed, we took full responsibility for his care, and Flopy became one of the animals under our organization’s protection.

Today, Flopy is three years old, medium-sized and weighs approximately 18 kilograms. He has received all necessary veterinary care. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and regularly protected against internal and external parasites, as well as heartworm.

By nature, he is a very gentle, quiet and unassuming dog. He can be reserved and frightened around unfamiliar people, but there is not a trace of aggression in him. He simply withdraws, like a dog who has learned to observe the world cautiously before trusting it. When given time, peace and a gentle approach, Flopy reveals his true nature: he becomes playful, affectionate, soft-hearted and very eager for cuddles and closeness.

He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves long walks and spending time in nature. Because of his character and need for peace, we believe his ideal home would be one with a yard where he could enjoy himself without stress or pressure.

Flopy is not a demanding dog. He needs safety, patience, gentleness and people who will understand his mild and reserved nature.

After everything he has been through, we believe he deserves a home where he can spend the rest of his life without fear, peacefully, safely and surrounded by love.
