ADOPTION

WE DON’T LOOK FOR A HOME QUICKLY. WE CHOOSE ONE CAREFULLY.

Some of them experienced safety for the first time only after coming into our care. That is why we look for a home where they will never again experience abandonment, neglect or fear. We entrust them to people who are ready to give them a life filled with patience, understanding, responsibility and love.

ADOPTION PROCEDURE

We approach every adoption responsibly because we are looking for a family that understands that adopting an animal is a lifelong commitment, not a passing wish. Our goal is not a quick adoption, but a safe home that serves the animal’s best interests. The process therefore includes the following steps:

You begin the process by applying through our website or our official Instagram page, The process begins by submitting an application through our website or our official Instagram page, @ventura_udomi..

The applicant completes a questionnaire so that we can assess the living conditions they can provide and their approach to animal welfare. .

If the questionnaire shows that you meet our requirements, we conduct a telephone interview to get to know you better and assess your readiness.

We arrange an in-person meeting with the animal for applicants who are shortlisted.

Our organization delivers the animal to the home, and a trial-period agreement is signed. During the trial period, the animal remains microchipped and registered to the organization. The adopter is required to maintain regular contact with us, follow safety rules (the dog must always be on a leash and under strict supervision), and allow home visits arranged in advance.

If the trial period is successful, the permanent adoption agreement is signed and notarized. Only then is the animal officially adopted, and the adopter has five days to transfer the microchip registration details into their name.

IMPORTANT

Ventura reserves the right to stop the adoption process at any stage and remove the animal from the prospective home if we determine that agreed terms or contractual obligations are not being respected, or that the conditions compromise the animal’s safety or welfare.
