Much of our work focuses on severely injured, neglected and vulnerable animals whose recovery requires time, professional care and commitment.
The animals we rescue receive medical treatment, rehabilitation and socialization, giving them the chance to live safe, healthy and dignified lives.
For us, adoption is one of the most rewarding moments of every rescue — the moment an animal finally gains a family, a sense of security and the life they deserve.
HOW VENTURA WORKS
Ventura does not operate a shelter or rescue facility and has no paid staff. Everything we do is made possible through volunteer work.
The animals we rescue are cared for primarily in our own homes, as well as in temporary foster homes, paid home-based care or carefully selected boarding facilities, where they receive the care, safety and conditions they need to recover.
Our capacity is limited. Every new rescue requires space, time, resources and dedicated care, which means we can usually take in another animal only when one already in our care has found a permanent home.

- Notarization
Notarization of the adoption agreement further reinforces the seriousness of the process and provides additional legal protection for the animal.
