Klara was rescued as a puppy from horrific conditions in Grocka, where she lived in severe hardship and was on the brink of death. She was one of 15 puppies whose lives we fought to save, and despite everything she went through, she was the one who responded best to treatment and showed an extraordinary will to live.
From the very beginning, Klara was special. Quiet, attentive and reserved around people she does not know, she is not a dog who immediately gives herself over to everyone. Her trust is not won quickly, but once it is built, she shows just how much gentleness and devotion she carries within her.
Klara will soon turn two years old and has received all necessary veterinary care. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and regularly protected against internal and external parasites, as well as heartworm.
She walks perfectly on a leash, is house-trained, loves other dogs and gets along well with cats.
However, Klara has boundaries that must be respected. She is afraid of men and does not tolerate being pestered by young children, which is why we are looking for a peaceful, stable and responsible home for her, without noise or pressure.
She would be best suited to a home with female household members, with someone who will offer her gentleness, safety and patience, along with clear structure, consistency and calm guidance. We believe this is her path toward a happy, stable and secure life.
We are looking for a home where Klara will not be expected to immediately be a dog for everyone.
