Ventura is a non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and protecting abandoned animals, and finding them safe, responsible homes.
Our work is made possible by people who believe that every animal deserves safety, care and a second chance at life.
Much of our work focuses on severely injured, neglected and vulnerable animals whose recovery requires time, professional care and commitment.
This is the reality faced by animals abandoned on the streets — left to endure suffering, fear and neglect.
Once rescued, a long journey of recovery begins — rebuilding their trust, restoring their sense of safety and giving them back the dignity they were denied.
After a rescue, urgent veterinary care comes first.
Examinations, diagnostic tests, treatment, medical procedures and stabilization are all essential steps in bringing an animal out of critical condition and giving them a chance to recover.
With dedicated care, patience and love, the animals we rescue begin to recover both physically and emotionally.
Once they have regained a sense of safety and trust, and their veterinary care is complete, we begin searching for a home where they will be loved and protected.
Our goal is for every rescue story to ultimately lead to a safe, permanent and responsible adoption.
