We found him alone on the concrete at a petrol station. He was meowing helplessly and approaching people, as if begging someone to notice him and help.
His hind legs were crossing and folding beneath his body. He dragged them behind him, lost his balance and fell every time he tried to take a few steps. We immediately brought him to safety and took him to a veterinarian.
Detailed examinations and diagnostic imaging revealed two serious injuries—a fracture of the head of the left femur in the hip area and a fracture of the left side of the pelvis. During the first few days, he also had blood in his urine, but fortunately, the bleeding subsided. According to the veterinarian, injuries of this kind are most commonly caused by a very forceful impact.
Once his condition had stabilised, he underwent FHO surgery, during which the damaged head and neck of the left femur were removed. The procedure was successfully performed by surgeon Đorđe Beatović, with the support of the Vet Miloš veterinary team.
Our little fighter now faces a period of therapy, regular check-ups and careful recovery. Please donate and help us provide the treatment he needs, a life free from pain and the opportunity to stand securely on his own four paws again.
